It's important to know that words don't move mountains. Work, exacting work moves mountains.

Contemporary Art Museum At the Presidio (CAMP)
Doris and Don Fisher, the founders of The Gap, Inc., hired Ground Floor Public
Affairs to wage a public campaign in support of their proposed museum, the
Contemporary Art Museum at the Presidio (CAMP). The Fisher family’s proposal to
donate their world-class art collection for public viewing, and fund the construction
of a multi-million dollar project to house it, needed support to achieve the
appropriate approvals by national and state regulatory agencies. By utilizing our
media and community contacts, GFPA built a coalition of over 1,000 active
supporters for the museum and engaged communities throughout the Bay Area.
GFPA also served as the primary media contact for the project, driving positive
coverage from electronic and print media on a local and national level. Working with
the Fishers’ architects, project managers, and art experts, GFPA created a cohesive
media and outreach strategy to ensure that the Presidio Trust Board of Directors
heard from a diverse array of San Franciscans in support of CAMP.
