Yes on Proposition G (City & County of San Francisco)
Ground Floor Public Affairs managed the citywide campaign to pass Proposition G
and defeat Proposition F in order to develop over 300 acres of green space and
create 10,000 units of housing in Bayview Hunters-Point. GFPA’s field team recruited
tens of thousands of supporters and contacted over 120,000 voters throughout the
campaign. GFPA’s micro-targeted voter outreach program allowed the campaign to
identify the right voters who were receptive to the campaign’s message. This daily
“in-the-trenches” fieldwork bridged the gap between a distrustful community,
multiple city agencies, and a controversial corporation. Proposition G received a
mandate of 65% of the vote and paved the way for jobs, parks, and affordable
housing in Bayview Hunters-Point.
